The team at ConSpare are delighted to announce the appointment of Gary Ramsell, who joins us as Project and Contracts Manager for the Capital Equipment Department.
Headed by Engineering Director Steve Peterson, the department provides high-performance mixing and batching technology to end-users and batch plant manufacturers alike. The range includes Teka mixers, Walter washout systems, and Hydronix moisture measurement equipment.
Having worked previously as a Civil Engineer for the Canal and River Trust, Gary will be managing equipment installations and after-sales servicing procedures for the Department. His methodical thinking and analytical skills lend themselves perfectly to the work he’ll be undertaking.
FROM RIVERS TO ROGER BULLIVANT
Before starting at the Canal and River Trust, Gary worked for the likes of PCE Limited and Roger Bullivant in similar contractual and project management roles, enabling him to bring a wealth of industry experience to his role at ConSpare.
As well as a breadth of experience, Gary boasts a variety of academic achievements, including a ONC, an HNC and a BSc (Hons) degree all in Civil Engineering. Gary is also a Technician Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
FURTHER EXPANSION OF OUR ON-SITE SERVICE CAPABILITIES
Gary’s appointment, and the recent addition of Service Engineer Barry Bicknell to the team, helps the department cater for the continually growing demand for specialist on-site services, such as Walter Washout servicing and Hydronix calibrations.
By subscribing to our range of on-site services, not only will clients benefit from keeping the equipment in best working order, they are also ensuring that the significant improvements gained within the process are retained over the long-term. This proactive approach to maintenance helps maximise productivity and safeguard quality, whilst providing a platform for further process improvement elsewhere in the plant. All of which is key to Make it better.
Steve Peterson, Engineering Director at ConSpare said;
“We’re delighted to be welcoming Gary to the team and wish him every success in his new role. The department has a history of helping clients succeed on big projects, such as Hinkley Point C, and we’re sure Gary will help contribute greatly to further successes in the future.”
Speaking about his new appointment, Gary said;
“Working for ConSpare is an exciting opportunity. The whole ‘make it better’ approach is something really different in the industry and being part of the team to help implement that whole process is quite special.”
When not at work, Gary enjoys spending time in the garden with his family or trying his hand at a DIY project.
