The Challenge:

Rubber cement socks on the drybatch leg of a readymixed concrete plant were suffering regular blockage and premature failure. Aggregate discharge was causing the cement sock to compress, leading to flow restriction, increased truck loading time, uneven cement distribution and caused the sock to rip.
