The Challenge:

A vibratory feeder conveying sand and gravel in a concrete batching plant required routine maintenance to replace the polyethylene liner. Rather than simply replace with a like-for-like product, the client decided to use the opportunity to try and find a replacement which would help improve feeder performance.

Matrox Premium grade UHMW polyethylene – 15mm thick

Throughput = 30 tonnes in 21 minutes // Vibrator amperage = 3.9 A

Matrox Premium:
Improved throughput = 30 tonnes in 15 minutes // Vibrator amperage = 2.5 A // Less vibration required.
