WAM-SILOTOP-ZERO-Venting-Filters-In-Situ

PROVIDING A COMPREHENSIVE RANGE OF WAM COMPONENTS TO UK CONCRETE PRODUCERS

ConSpare has sold thousands of concrete batching plant components from WAMGROUP since they set up in the UK over 35 years ago. This longstanding partnership has now been officially recognised, with ConSpare being appointed as a WAM Master Reseller in UK for the concrete industry.

WAMGROUP

WAMGROUP is the global market leader in Screw Conveyors and amongst the most prominent players in the field of Bulk Solids Handling & Processing Equipment. The company founded in Modena, Italy, in 1968, employs some 2,400 people at more than 60 locations in 40 countries.

In the UK particularly, WAM’s silo components and screw conveyors are the standard for many across the concrete industry.

ConSpare + WAM – More stock and better support

As WAM Master Reseller, we now provide even higher levels of support to the UK concrete industry.

We have further increased our stockholding of WAM components in our UK warehouse, ensuring fast, frictionless despatch of plant consumables and breakdown components. We are also the UK’s largest supplier of WAM filter cartridges.

Overall, we now hold ~£2million of stock across all of our brands.

Launch partner for the new silo venting filter – SILOTOP® polyTUBE™

To coincide with this new partnership, we have been chosen to help launch the new SILOTOP® polyTUBE™ silo venting filter in the UK.

We are currently conducting trials with this next generation silo venting filter, which is smaller, quieter, lighter, has fewer parts and has substantially lower running costs than previous filters.

SILOTOP® polyTUBE™ is extremely energy efficient. The polyTUBE™ filter cartridges are cleaned using pulse mechanical cleaning instead of the traditional method of reverse-jet cleaning, eliminating the use of compressed air. Compressed air requires large amounts of electricity, and this electricity is responsible for significant financial cost and CO2 emissions.

Commenting on the partnership, Tom Bullock, General Manager, stated:

“We strongly value the relationships we build with our suppliers, and it’s an honour to be chosen as a master reseller for WAM. Ultimately though, this partnership provides greatest benefit to our customers, as we can provide an even higher level of service.

I’m particularly excited about the launch of SILOTOP® polyTUBE™. During a visit to the WAM factory in Modena we got a real sense of the benefits that this filter will provide, both in terms of cost saving and reducing CO2. It will be a great addition to our range, supporting our drive to help make concrete production more sustainable for our clients.”
