Hillhead a huge success for ConSpare

Hillhead-1

ConSpare and our sister company ProSpare were out in force in the glorious sunshine in the High Peak last week, as we took our ‘Make it better’ concept to the world’s biggest live quarrying and construction expo.

We were at Tarmac’s Harpur Hill Quarry, near Buxton, for the 2018 Hillhead trade show.

The biennial event, which attracted more than 500 exhibitors and 18,500 visitors from across the industry, was a fantastic showcase of all the latest technology and innovations from the quarrying, recycling and heavy industries.

These sectors are a hugely important part of our economy. They add £235bn of economic value each year, which represents about 16% of the UK’s economy overall.

But there are challenges that these industries need to address, which ConSpare can help with.

Health & Safety a key theme

The buzzwords around the show were ‘health & safety’. Although falling in number, accidents within the industry remain a stark reminder that plant operators must remain vigilant and that there is no room for complacency when it comes to site safety.

And the industries are also committed to mitigating their impact on the environment and the communities they serve.

ConSpare can provide plant operators with site-specific solutions which help improve health & safety and reduce environmental impact, and many of these were on display at the show.

Showcasing ‘Make it better’

As ever, we filled our stand with a range of our most innovative products – including a Teka TPZ 4500 3m³ planetary mixer, which has been sold to Hanson UK.

The exhibits we had on display showed visitors to our stand how we can help improve the concrete production process by utilising specialist products to solve specific plant operation problems.

By taking a holistic approach to improving the entire end-to-end process, we can help plant operators to ‘Make it better’ and achieve improvements in safety, quality and productivity, leading to enhanced reputation and increased profitability for the business overall.

The very core of ‘Make it better’ is about collaborating with our customers to transform the production process.

Assessing the overall effectiveness of the plant and understanding how the processes interlink is key to delivering large-scale improvement.

We combine industry-leading expertise and an in-depth understanding of the entire end-to-end process with market-leading concrete production equipment to deliver continuous improvement.

It was great to be able to share this innovative new approach with visitors to our stand at Hillhead and we look forward to working with them in the months ahead to help them ‘Make it better’.
