In June 2022, ConSpare and ProSpare relocated from their home for over 40 years in Pinxton to new premises at Castlewood Business Park.
Following 40 years of successful operation at their warehouse and office premises in Pinxton, ConSpare have invested in a brand-new home at the Castlewood Business Park development.
Castlewood Gateway, situated at Castlewood Business Park in Nottinghamshire, is a purpose built 19,438 sq. ft warehouse and office building. The new premises are located 2 miles away from their old Headquarters, and sit within a prominent development which is less than 5 minutes away from Junction 28 of the M1.
Investing in stock, facilities, and people
The move to Castlewood is a significant step forward for ConSpare and supports the business’s future growth plans. Critically, it allows for further expansion of their comprehensive UK stockholding of concrete production equipment and spare parts.
An increase of ~400% in warehousing capacity allows ConSpare to stock even more components for their customers, ensuring fast despatches and low delivery costs. In particular, they continue to invest in the stockholding of concrete mixer spares and wear parts, to keep this key piece of the concrete batch plant up and running for longer with less maintenance downtime.
The state-of-the-art premises also features a 16-person conference room and best practice demonstration room displaying their process improving products. These first-class facilities, in addition to the central location, make it an excellent destination for customers to visit, and also potentially hold their own operational meetings.
James Bullock, Managing Director, ConSpare commented:
“The move to Castlewood forms the cornerstone of our relentless drive to improve the industry’s foremost process improvement and spare parts support service. It provides the perfect platform to continue to grow and develop the business and futureproof our operations for the next 40 years.”
“The location is ideal, and the chance to plan the building ‘from the ground up’ allowed us to implement many improvements for the business going forward. Castlewood also provides a great environment for our employees to work within.
We’re sure our customers will also love our enhanced meeting facilities and best practice demonstration room, where we’ll showcase how we help to Make it better!”’
