Taking A Look At Centrum Pile Ltd’s New TEKA THZ

Centrum TEKA Mixer 1

Centrum Pile and their new TEKA

It was great to visit Centrum Pile Ltd recently to see their newly commissioned TEKA pan mixer.

The new TEKA THZ3000A (2m³) machine replaces an ageing 1.5m³ pan mixer, and was expertly slotted into the existing batch plant by SES Engineering (Newark) Ltd.

Alongside efficient mixing and reliable operation, the 33% increase in batch size now allows the Centrum team to fully load the skip with one batch – improving operational efficiencies.

Many thanks to Shaun Sutton and the wider team for giving us a tour of the plant. We look forward to coming back in a few months to see how you’re getting on

More about the TEKA THZ mixer

The Teka THZ pan mixer has set the standard for efficiency and reliability for over 60 years. Through continual development over the decades, THZ combines excellent mixing performance with simplicity, ruggedness and exceptional service life.

The unique swingback arm configuration is designed to maximise the effectiveness of the blades and scrapers whilst reducing interference and wear of the arms themselves, reducing mixing times and increasing homogeneity.

Sizes range from 250 litres to 6000 litres (0.17m³ to 4m³ concrete output). Machines can be specified with up to 4 discharge doors, skip hoists, and a wide range of mixer wear plates and wear parts.
