Once again, the ConSpare team descended on the National Exhibition Centre, in Birmingham, for the 2018 UK Concrete Show.
The annual event, which is now in its eighth year, is the number one standalone concrete industry expo in Europe, where key producers, suppliers and equipment manufacturers converge to celebrate the successes of the sector, network and share their expertise and best practice.
We used the event to launch our new ‘Make it better’ concept, which we’ve been developing over the past 18 months to reflect our position as a key problem-solving partner to the industry.
Our new brand and identity was very well-received at the event and sent out a clear message about how we can apply solutions to help improve the concrete production process, using carefully-selected market-leading products that deliver results and add real value.
For us, it’s all about collaborating with our customers to transform the concrete production process.
We combine industry-leading expertise and an in-depth understanding of the entire end-to-end process with market-leading concrete production equipment to deliver continuous improvement.
Assessing the overall effectiveness of the plant and understanding how the processes interlink is key to delivering large-scale improvement.
With over 40 years’ experience in the industry we have identified what we believe to be the five key stages of the production process – storage, conveying, batching, mixing and discharging.
ConSpare is expert in all of them.
Furthermore, we’re the only company in the UK with market-leading expertise and products in all five stages of the production process.
While solving problems individually provides plant improvement, delivering that improvement across the plant provides transformation.
That is the very core of ‘Make it better’.
Our highly-skilled and experienced team is widely considered a leading authority on concrete mixing technology and batch plant processes.
Over the years, we have provided expertise and support to some of Europe’s biggest infrastructure projects, including Hinkley Point C nuclear powerplant, and Crossrail.
Our ‘Make it better’ concept is a clear demonstration of the role we can play in helping concrete producers to make their plants, processes and equipment better.
Our innovative new approach delivers improved productivity, safety and product quality for concrete producers.
It was great to be able to share it with the industry for the first time at the Concrete Show, which was the best we have attended for many years. It was well-attended, which created a real ‘buzz’ in the exhibition hall.
We had visitors from a wide cross section of the industry, including clients at all levels of seniority from the precast, readymix, roof tile and mortar sectors.
The beauty of our ‘Make it better’ approach is that it appeals to the widest range of individuals across the industry.
We recognise that different people face different problems – whether you’re looking to improve safety, reduce breakdowns and maintenance, or boost productivity and profitability – so no matter how you look at the plant, we can tailor the solutions we provide to suit whatever your task is within the business.
‘Make it better’ enables us to work with different process and product specialists to provide solutions to improve specific plant operations.
By looking at the plant through our customers’ eyes, we can deliver improvements which specifically address their individual priorities.
It won’t be long until Hillhead, another key event in the industry calendar, and we are looking forward to refining our pitch and taking the ‘Make it better’ message to the quarrying and construction industries as well.
