DuroBOARD® was created by Manfred Kessler, owner of a concrete products manufacturer in Germany. Well aware of the problems experienced with production boards, he used this insight to develop DuroBOARD®. 20 years later, operating on double shifts, the original set of boards created are still in use within the business’ plant. Now, DuroBOARD® is used in over 50 countries worldwide.

High-performance LVL core, encapsulated in protective polyurethane

The engineered LVL wooden core provides excellent breaking strength and bending stiffness at an optimum density – with an E-modulus almost twice as high as solid plastic. The meticulous manufacturing process ensures the consistent delivery of these key characteristics across the entire board surface.

The core is fully encapsulated by a 3mm thick high-performance polyurethane – BAYDUR®. This PU shields the core from wear, impact and a host of environmental factors, protecting performance over the longest term.
