In recent years, we’ve built an extensive range of high-quality replacement wear parts and components designed to reduce maintenance downtime in twinshaft mixers – the latest of which is twinshaft mixer cleaning rings.

Twinshaft mixer cleaning rings

Twinshaft mixers are difficult to keep clean. Cleaning rings are designed to help prevent large amounts of build-up from forming on mixer shafts and arms. Working alongside your existing cleaning routine, they help keep the mixer cleaner for longer, reducing the need for maintenance and entry into the mixer.

These cleaning rings were designed by our team and feature a heavy duty steel construction. They are simple to retrofit by bolting them in place and are available in 12” or 16” inside diameter to suit virtually all twinshaft models. The rings are installed between the central and lateral arms, but not between the lateral arms and the wall, with one ring per ‘gap’.

We recommend cleaning rings are used to supplement your current cleaning regime, not replace it. The use of a purpose built high-pressure mixer washout system remains the optimal method of preventative cleaning.
