The Teka TPZ planetary mixer is engineered specifically for challenging mixing applications, including self-compacting concrete, ultra-high performance concrete and fibre concrete. It also offers high operational safety, ease of maintenance and great wear performance.
The ‘counter current’ gearbox rotates the mixing stars in opposing directions, producing a high intensity blending action to mix quicker and more comprehensively – with material completely recirculated with only one revolution of the mixing tools. This makes the TPZ perfect for applications which require a consistent finish, for example, using colourings.
Sizes range from 250 litres to 4500 litres (0.17m³ to 3m³ concrete output). Machines can be specified with up to 4 discharge doors, skip hoists, and a wide range of mixer wear plates and wear parts.
To get the most from your investment in a new mixer, you can also specify:
The industry is undertaking projects to reduce its environmental impact and CO2, yet the concrete batching plant itself is often overlooked. We believe carbon emissions associated with production can be cut by improving the performance of concrete batch plants and employing smart maintenance solutions.
Our case study showcases how the replacement of an energy intensive rotating pan mixer with a Teka TPZ planetary mixer at a leading roof tile manufacturer provided considerable savings, without compromising on quality. Annual savings:
• 68,000 kWh of power • Equivalent to 23.8tonnes of CO2 • And £40,800
